International Growth & Market Development

Helping creatives, organisations, and institutions generate business in the UK market — with strategic insight, sector knowledge, and hands-on support.

About

Cornflower Consulting supports creatives, businesses, and institutions navigating the UK market, helping them connect, grow, and deliver meaningful initiatives.

With nearly two decades of experience across creative industries and international trade, we combine strategic insight with practical, on-the-ground delivery. Since 2018, our work has focused on supporting Canadian creative businesses entering the UK — we look forward to sharing this knowledge with organisations and creatives from any country seeking to establish themselves in this market.

Founder’s Note

Cornflower Consulting was born from a moment of unexpected change and profound joy.

After 19 years in international trade and investment, largely supporting supporting creative industries, the Government of Canada sunset its creative industries programme.

The work itself did not disappear; creative businesses and the artists behind them continue to come to the UK seeking meaningful partnerships, visibility, and growth.

At the same time, my husband and I welcomed our long-awaited son — a moment that prompted reflection and a new direction.

I realised my passion lies in supporting creative work itself — ideas, talent, and collaboration — not just facilitating transactions.

Today, I work independently with organisations and creatives navigating international partnerships, opportunities, and growth in the UK.

Cornflower Consulting is built on that foundation: creative, collaborative, and commercially grounded — delivered with experience and care.
